Local Logic's Local Content refresh

More Insights, More Engagement, More Control

At Local Logic, we’re committed to helping real estate professionals deliver the rich, hyperlocal insights that home consumers need to make confident decisions. Our popular Local Content widget has always been a key tool for brokerages looking to stand out with location intelligence.

Today, we’re excited to roll out the refreshed Local Content experience! This major update is designed to increase user engagement, provide more valuable insights at a glance, and give you greater control over how the widget appears on your site.

What’s New?

1. A Bigger, Better Map Experience

We’ve redesigned the interface so the map takes center stage. By reducing the space taken up by the sidebar and allowing users to collapse it even further, homeseekers now enjoy an immersive, full-view map experience that makes it easier to visually explore neighborhoods.

For websites with a static or underused map, this refresh turns it into a powerful, interactive tool that showcases the true value of every location.

You can also choose your preferred map provider and style with our expanded support for Maptiler, Google Maps, and Mapbox.

2. More Points of Interest (POIs)

To help consumers get a better sense of a property’s surroundings, we’ve tripled the number of POIs displayed (from 10 to 30) and increased the search radius to 2.5 km (1.5 miles). Users can now see more schools, restaurants, parks, and other amenities that matter to them when choosing a home.

3. A Smoother, More Intuitive Experience

We’ve reimagined how users interact with POIs to make the experience more natural and relevant. Instead of zooming in on each POI and losing track of the property, the updated view keeps the listing in focus while highlighting nearby amenities.

For example, when users click on a school, restaurant, or daycare, the map now shows where that amenity is in relation to the property, answering the real question that consumers have: “How close is this to the home I’m considering?”

This new approach gives consumers a clear sense of proximity, making it easier to evaluate what day-to-day life might look like at that location. Combined with faster, more seamless interactions, users can now access insights more easily, keeping them engaged and better informed as they explore properties.

4. Greater Customization for Your Brand

We’ve expanded customization options, giving you greater control over how Local Content fits with your brand and user experience. In addition to existing options for colors, fonts, and spacing, you can now:

  • Default the sidebar to be collapsed
  • Hide individual scores

What This Means for You

Local Content continues to be the best way to drive home consumer engagement on your listings with neighborhood context that keeps visitors on your site longer and drives more qualified leads. This refresh makes it even simpler to deliver a more engaging experience that sets your website apart and gives your agents a competitive edge.

The new Local Content experience has now been automatically updated on all customer sites. Your existing customizations will carry over seamlessly, and our documentation has been updated to reflect new customization options.
